After five months in business, Caninballz indoor dog water park has put a “paws” in its operations, temporarily closing, according to a flyer on its door.
The move came after all 10 employees quit during a team meeting Sunday, according to Facebook posts by former employees.
Employees shared their concerns at the meeting about what they felt were unsafe practices, said Bailey Beard, one of those employees. Among the issues she said they communicated with the owner: unsafe pool temperatures for the dogs, which caused one dog to get hypothermia; slippery floors; and not waiting long enough to let the dogs use the pool after the water was treated…
