What started as a search for the best smashburger in the area turned into a review of all kinds of restaurants for Michelle Duni.
The Toledo native started sharing her findings on social media under the username “She’s Eating It” in February, 2025 on Instagram and Facebook. In March, 2025 she started her TikTok account, with her page now having over 12,000 followers in just over a year.
Toledo is often associated with chain restaurants, which wasn’t always the case, Duni said. She wants her platform to shift the narrative to focus on the good, local food Toledo has to offer in its chef-owned spots, unassuming eateries, decade-old diners, and more…
