LAKESIDE, Ohio (WJW) — The Vietnam Traveling Memorial Wall will make a stop in Ottawa County, Ohio this spring during America’s 250th Anniversary celebration.
From May 28 through June 1, the wall – a three-fifths scale replica of the Vietnam Veterans Memorial in Washington, D.C. – will be displayed at Lakeside Chautauqua along the lakefront near Hotel Lakeside, a March 3 news release said.

It will be the only scheduled stop in Ohio.
The wall stretches nearly 300 feet in length. The names of 58,000 U.S. service members who died in the Vietnam War are etched into its surface.
