With the purchase of a plot of land in East Toledo, Catholic Charities Diocese of Toledo has helped pave the way for a new home of the Helping Hands food and clothing center.
The diocese announced Monday that they had purchased the site of the former East Toledo Junior High School at Dearborn Avenue and Ravine Parkway Drive. The transfer has not been recorded yet and the diocese declined to reveal the sale price.
