UToledo makes agreement with soon-to-be-closed Lourdes University taking on new students

TOLEDO, Ohio (WTVG) – Lourdes University announced a teach-out agreement with The University of Toledo Monday, which will allow its students to complete their degrees after Lourdes closes this spring.

As part of the agreement, The University of Toledo will serve as the permanent custodian of Lourdes University student records, including transcripts and related academic documentation.

“This agreement reflects our unwavering commitment to our students,” said Sr. Nancy Linenkugel, President of Lourdes University. “While this moment is difficult for our university community, we are grateful to partner with The University of Toledo to ensure that our students can continue their educational journey with stability, support, and respect for the investment they have made in their education.”…
