MONCLOVA TOWNSHIP – With an expectation of continued growth, Monclova Township trustees approved a one-year employment contract with retiring Springfield Township Administrator Michael Hampton II to serve as director of safety services, zoning and special projects.
“I’m retiring on April 30 from Springfield Township and starting with Monclova on May 1,” Hampton said.
A Monclova Township resident, Hampton has served as Springfield Township administrator since 2016. He began his career 31 years ago in the Springfield Township maintenance department, then moved up to maintenance supervisor and director of public service before being tapped for the administrator’s role.
