CLEVELAND, Ohio — St. Edward enters Saturday’s second day of the OHSAA Division I boys wrestling state tournament with a narrow two-point advantage over Perrysburg in the team race, setting up a tight battle for the team championship.
The Eagles sit in first place with 36 points, while Perrysburg trails with 34 after the opening round. Both teams have positioned themselves well for the remaining matches, with Perrysburg holding a slight edge in wrestlers still competing.
St. Edward advanced eight wrestlers to the championship bracket after first-round victories.
