PERRYSBURG, Ohio (WTVG) – Students returned to Toth Elementary on Monday after part of the school’s roof was torn off during a windstorm the previous Friday.
Principal Jennifer Thompson said she was walking the halls when the incident occurred. She said one side of the roof peeled off and landed in front of classroom windows on the other side of the building.
“What we saw was not something we expected,” Thompson said. “It was the roof just hanging off the side of the building.”…
