TOLEDO, Ohio — Toledo police are searching for two individuals who robbed a Vito’s Pizza on Tuesday and slashed a worker’s face with an unknown weapon.
The robbery occurred after 1 p.m. at the pizza shop located in the 300 block of Detroit Avenue, according to an incident report. An employee told responding officers that two people wearing all black hoods, masks and glasses entered the pizzeria and demanded money from the register.
After receiving the money, one of the masked robbers cut the employee with an unknown weapon before fleeing, police said. The employee was treated by by Toledo Fire and Rescue at the scene and their injuries were deemed not life threatening…
