Toledo police investigating 18 reports of car tires slashed in Library Village

TOLEDO, Ohio — At least 18 vehicles were vandalized in a tire-slashing spree across a west Toledo neighborhood, leaving residents with costly repairs and lingering frustration as police search for a suspect.

The damage was reported Monday morning in the Library Village area, where residents along North Haven Avenue, Branleigh Drive and other nearby streets discovered their vehicles with punctured tires.
