TOLEDO, Ohio — At least 18 vehicles were vandalized in a tire-slashing spree across a west Toledo neighborhood, leaving residents with costly repairs and lingering frustration as police search for a suspect.
The damage was reported Monday morning in the Library Village area, where residents along North Haven Avenue, Branleigh Drive and other nearby streets discovered their vehicles with punctured tires.
Toledo police say all of the incidents happened overnight between Sunday and Monday. In each case, the tires that were damaged were facing the street, suggesting the suspect or suspects moved quickly from car to car…
