Oversight Committee continues work on Toledo Public Schools Transformation Plan

TOLEDO, Ohio — With millions of dollars and key district services on the line, Toledo Public Schools leaders and community members met again on Wednesday night as part of ongoing efforts to address a projected $68 million budget deficit.

The district’s Transformation Plan Oversight Committee — made up of school board members, union leaders, administrators and community representatives — is tasked with reviewing budget‑saving options and recommending a path forward to district leadership and the Board of Education.
