TOLEDO, Ohio — A new school leader is stepping in at a time when many in Perrysburg are asking the same question: What comes next?
After years marked by leadership turnover, public scrutiny and tough conversations about money, the district’s incoming superintendent says the path forward starts with something simple: listening.
“I would kind of describe myself as a collaborative person, a person who listens first, seeks to understand,” said Michael Acomb, who will take over the role Aug. 1. “I value relationships and learning, and I think to me that’s the foundation of making good decisions.”
