Everyone is safe after a fire broke out at a north Toledo home, according to Toledo Fire & Rescue Department.
TFRD crews responded to the scene Sunday morning in the 1200 block of Peck Street. The owner of the home had been out all night and was met with smoke when they walked through the door, a TFRD battalion chief told WTOL 11 at the scene.
Firefighters arrived and extinguished a flame that had burned through the ceiling on the second floor of the home. Crews also did a full search of the home and there were no injuries to people or firefighters. The fire was no longer burning as of around 6:30 a.m. Sunday…
