Deputies: Toledo Man Apprehended After High-speed Vehicle Chase

A Toledo man was arrested Friday after deputies said he conducted a high-speed chase across Monroe County.

The 60-year-old man, whose identity has not been revealed, is accused of fleeing Toledo police in a stolen vehicle. Officers called off the pursuit after the car crossed into Michigan.

A Monroe County sheriff’s officer discovered the vehicle around 12:20 a.m. in a parking lot on Lewis Avenue in Bedford Township, according to a sheriff’s office press release.
