TOLEDO, Ohio — An adult was taken to the hospital and an investigation is underway after a fire Sunday morning in central Toledo.
The fire started in the 2500 block of Gasser Street, near Monroe Street, around 7:20 a.m. Sunday. The home was described by Toledo Fire & Rescue Department as a side-by-side twinplex, with one side vacant and the other occupied.
An adult resident was taken to the hospital for smoke inhalation, according to Toledo Fire. Their current condition has not been disclosed. No other injuries were reported…
