Two shot with the same bullet in Fremont

FREMONT – Charges have been filed against a Fremont man for accidentally shooting himself and another person with the same bullet while intoxicated.

Draydynn Adams, 18, was charged May 14 for a first-degree misdemeanor of using a weapon while intoxicated and a third-degree misdemeanor of negligent assault. Adams and his victim were treated at the ProMedica Fremont emergency room and taken to Toledo Hospital for further treatment.

“I am thankful that someone was not more seriously hurt.  I hope this is a point in time where people involved in this event will realize how lucky they are and change their lives,” Fremont Police Chief Derek Wensinger said. “Teenagers, alcohol and guns have no business being together.”…
