CatFest returns for 11th year honoring domestic violence victim

TOLEDO, Ohio (WTVG) – A local event returned for its 11th year on Sunday, honoring a domestic violence victim and raising money for survivors.

CatFest started in 2015 to honor Cathryn Lambert, known as Cat, who was killed by her husband. This year the money will go to an organization helping more than just domestic violence survivors.

Organizer Dee Brown said the goal is simple — if just one person leaves knowing where to get help, that’s a win in their eyes…
