Sears named Gibsonburg’s village administrator

Gibsonburg mayor Steven Fought has tabbed Amanda Sears as the village’s new administrator.

“Amanda brings a wealth of experience in municipal government, along with a strong commitment to community engagement and public service,” Fought said in a release. “A lifelong resident of the area, Amanda was raised in Sandusky County and is a proud graduate of Fremont Ross High School. She went on to attend Bowling Green State University, where she further developed her interest in public service and community leadership.”

Sears began her professional career with the City of Fremont, where she dedicated more than a decade to municipal service.
