TUCSON, Ariz. (13 News) – For the second time in a week, a Tucson public pool had to be closed after broken glass was found in it.
On Tuesday, May 26, the Tucson Parks & Recreation Department said Freedom Pool had to be closed after the glass was found on the deck and in the water. The pool will be drained and cleaned starting Wednesday.
The splash pad at the facility, located at 5000 East 29th Street, will also be closed. The pool and splash could reopen on Sunday, May 31…
