A Tucson-Pima County program is planning rehab work on up to 150 pre-1976 manufactured homes across the region, backed by $12.4 million in federal housing funds.
The City of Tucson and Pima County are jointly running the PRICE Rehab Program, which started May 27 and runs for five years. The total estimated program cost is $13.6 million, including leveraged local and state funding beyond the $12.4 million in HUD dollars.
Eligible repairs include window and door replacement, roof repair and replacement, HVAC repair and replacement, water heater replacement, plumbing and electrical work, and structural repairs. Residents with mobility challenges may also qualify for ramps, handrails, and fixture upgrades…
