A new chapter in Tucson’s evolving urban landscape has officially opened. Bourn Companies celebrated the grand opening of Astrie, welcoming its first residents to the luxury residential community and marking the first completed piece of Uptown, the company’s 2.5 million-square-foot redevelopment of the former Foothills Mall site at Ina Road and La Cholla Boulevard.
Astrie welcomed its first residents in June and is now leasing, offering the first opportunity to experience the vision behind Uptown, which is being developed as an Urban Resort Village blending the energy of urban living with the comfort and amenities of a resort-inspired destination. For Bourn Companies CEO Don Bourn, having residents move in represents an especially meaningful milestone.
