—Tucson’s only jazz club The Century Room presents a diverse lineup of jazz, soul, Brazilian music, and contemporary sounds throughout September, featuring acclaimed touring artists alongside some of Tucson’s finest musicians. Highlights include NYC vocalists Naama on September 4 and Richard Cortez on September 5 and 7, Scandinavian vocalist Ari Alexander with the Cecil Alexander Quartet on September 10, Australian guitarist Tim Jago on September 11, drummer Red Bouras and the OrganNauts on September 12, Sarah Tolar and Jason Carder on September 18, Samba de Sonora on September 19, Italian vocalist Mafalda Minnozzi with Paul Ricci on September 25 and Chicago trumpeter Markus Rutz on September 26. Late Night programming on Fridays and Saturdays has no cover at the bar and $2 off house cocktails after 10pm!
