TUCSON, Ariz. (13 News) – A woman is facing a host of domestic violence charges, including attempted second-degree murder, following a machete attack at a Tucson home on Sept. 4.
Rosetta Hicks has been charged with attempted second-degree murder, child abuse, aggravated assault with serious injury, aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, and disorderly conduct with a dangerous instrument. The 62-year-old Hicks is being held on a $525,000 bond.
According to the interim complaint, Hicks attacked one of her daughters with the machete during a fight. The victim’s son, a non-verbal and autistic 9-year-old, was at the home along with the victim’s boyfriend…
