Armed Home Invaders Targeted a Sliding Glass Door in Tucson and Most Homeowners Make the Same Mistake
It was 10:40 at night near East Vernice Street, Tucson. Two armed men forced their way in – not through the front door, not through a window – through the back sliding glass door.
Aaron Lizarraga, 40, and Mark Anthony Morelos, 38, came in armed with an AR-15-style rifle and a semi-automatic handgun. Once inside, they restricted the victim’s movements, struck them in the back of the head with the rifle, and stole three firearms from the home. One victim was taken to the hospital.
They left the same way they came in, out through the sliding door, and drove away in a dark SUV belonging to Morelos’ wife or girlfriend…
