TUCSON, Ariz. (13 News) – As southern Arizonans prepare to cast their ballots this November, Legislative District 17 candidate GOP John Winchester outlined his policy priorities in an interview on Tucson Now, focusing on resource management, community safety, and accountability in state education spending.

Winchester, running for the Arizona House of Representatives, pointed to water security and energy infrastructure as core state issues. While he views data centers as critical national infrastructure, he emphasized that zoning and placement should remain with local municipalities rather than neighborhoods.
