TUCSON, AZ. (Oct. 14, 2026) — The Rio Nuevo District announced the appointments of George H. “Hank” Amos III and Kameron “Kam” Norwood to its Board of Directors, bringing decades of combined experience in commercial real estate, business development and community leadership to the district. Both will begin their board roles effective immediately, attending the meeting on October 13.
Amos was appointed by the speaker of the Arizona house of representatives, while Norwood was appointed by the president of the Arizona senate. Their appointments bring additional private-sector expertise to the board as Rio Nuevo continues its efforts to attract investment, support local businesses and advance economic development in Tucson.
Amos, a fourth-generation Tucsonan, serves as chairman and CEO of Tucson Realty & Trust Co., Arizona’s oldest real estate company, specializing in commercial brokerage and property management.
