South Tucson request for financial help put on back burner, likely for a month

TUCSON, Ariz. (13 News) – The city of South Tucson is facing financial problems again, something it has dealt with several times in recent years. A small tax base, a low property tax rate and slow sales tax receipts have forced the town to ask the Pima County Board of Supervisors for help to maintain its fire department and emergency medical services.
