The Arizona-Sonora Desert Museum on Tucson’s west side is closed today after two foxes got through the museum’s perimeter fence and roamed around.
Arizona Game & Fish Department said one of the foxes attacked, but did not injure, a staffer.
The foxes were euthanized after a brief search and are being tested for rabies.
The museum told KGUN 9 they are taking precautions since there have been cases of foxes with rabies in the area.
All of the animals at the museum are safe, according to the museum. It will reopen tomorrow morning.
