TUCSON, Ariz. (13 News) – Is this the monsoon storm pattern’s last gasp? It’s certainly trending that way as we dry out tomorrow for your Labor Day, with little to no showers/storms expected region-wide. We stay dry through the workweek, with slight shower/storm chances returning by next weekend. Going further into the future, guidance is telling us that September’s rainfall will be slightly below average while keeping in mind that September is a relatively drier month. After a strong start, it’s looking like monsoon will have a weak ending.
