FIRST ALERT FORECAST – Excessive Heat Warning

TUCSON, Ariz. (13 News) – As a ridge of high pressure builds over the region this week, temperatures will rise several degrees above normal with Thursday trending the hottest. Tucson is included in an Excessive Heat Warning Thursday and Friday, triggering First Alert Action Days. A few showers or storms are possible over the mountains this weekend, but most of southern Arizona will stay dry. Overnight lows will remain comfortable, cooling into the 70s in Tucson. Conditions will be breezy at times.
