TUCSON, Ariz. (13 News) – After near-record highs Thursday, temperatures will start to cool a few degrees Friday and a few more into the weekend. However, areas from Tucson westward are still included in an Excessive Heat Warning through 8 PM Friday, so today is another First Alert Action Day. A few showers or storms are possible over the White Mountains this weekend, but most of southern Arizona will stay dry. Overnight lows will remain comfortable, cooling into the 70s in Tucson. Expect gusty winds at times Friday through Sunday.
