Tucson Police respond to report of weapon at midtown high school

Tucson Police responded to reports of a possible weapon on the Catalina High School campus Monday.

According to TUSD, the midtown school was alerted to the possible presence of a student with a weapon.

Tucson Police said officers and school staff were able to locate the student. As of right now, no weapons have been found.

The school was on a brief lockdown, TPD said.
