FIRST ALERT FORECAST – Record October Heat

TUCSON, Ariz. (13 News) – It’s been a record warm start to the month of October, with highs continuing to run 10°+ above normal for the next several days. Expect more daily, monthly, and all-time records to break this week as a broad ridge of high pressure dominates our weather pattern. A slight uptick in moisture could lead to a stray shower or a few sprinkles Wednesday; otherwise, the hot and dry pattern persists. Overnight lows will cool off nicely, into the 60s and low 70s. A pattern change looks promising next week – stay tuned for updates!
