TUCSON, Ariz. (13 News) – Record heat was widespread today & it’s only going to get hotter this weekend. There’s a coin flip or better chance that Tucson will reach 100 tomorrow, which would break the record for the latest triple-digit day in recorded history. We stay unseasonably hot in the upper 90s Sunday. Cooling to the mid-low 90s Monday, with the real cool-down occurring after that. Temps plummet to the 70s on Tuesday & Wednesday, with temps around 80 for Halloween. Accompanying the system that’ll cool us down will be gusty winds Monday & Tuesday & a slight chance for rain Monday night into early Tuesday.
