At least 10 bats killed in Tucson after possibly being sprayed with fire extinguisher

TUCSON, Ariz. (13 News) – At least 10 bats near the Julian Wash in Tucson died after they were possibly sprayed with a fire extinguisher, according to the Arizona Game and Fish Department.

AZGFD said it happened nearly two weeks ago and was done intentionally. Killing bats in Arizona is illegal.

AZGFD has been busy lately trying to investigate people killing wildlife. In a completely seperate case, 38 coyotes, three family dogs, three javelinas, and one raven have been poisoned near the Pantano Wash near Houghton and Old Spanish Trail…
