Food distribution ordinance creates challenges for helping the unhoused

TUCSON, Ariz. (13 News) – The city of Tucson, a group of concerned citizens, and a contracted neutral moderator gathered in the Donna Liggins Center on Saturday, Mar 8, to discuss a city ordinance.

The event was one of the food distribution community dialogues hosted by the Tucson Parks and Recreation Department. The topic was Ordinance 21-4, a law that requires a permit to distribute food in parks to more than 10 people.
