Man, woman sentenced in death of special needs boy in Tucson

TUCSON, Ariz. (13 News) – A man and woman have been sentenced in connection with the death of a special needs boy in Tucson last year.

Ariel Lea Horn and Charles Jackson McClellan Jr. were in court on Monday, March 10. Horn was sentenced to seven years in prison with nearly a year credit for time served. McClellan was sentenced to 3 1/2 years in prison with nearly a year credit for time served,

Horn and McClellan pleaded guilty to two counts of child abuse on Jan. 17, 2025. They were facing a charge of first-degree murder before reaching the plea deal…
