SURPRISE, AZ (AZFamily) — One person is dead and a major road in Surprise is partially closed after a two-car crash on Monday afternoon.
It happened around 1:30 p.m. on Bell Road at Parkview Place, which is west of Bullard Avenue. Details are limited but the crash damaged a traffic signal so the intersection will be impacted for hours, police said.
Police said at least one person was taken to the hospital but it’s unclear if that’s the person who died or somebody else. Aerial video from the scene showed a silver four-door sedan and a black and white SUV having front-end damage. Both cars ended up partially on the sidewalk on the southeast corner of the intersection…
