Living Streets Alliance invites people of all ages and abilities to Cyclovia Tucson on Sunday, April 6th from 9 AM to 3 PM. Streets on the Cyclovia Treat Avenue Bicycle Boulevard route will be temporarily closed to car traffic and open to people to walk, roll, bike, and play.
Six hours and 3 miles of car-free streets are great, but why stop there? Make Cyclovia Sunday a car-lite or entirely car-free day by taking advantage of free transit, bike routes, or micromobility to get to and from the event. Here are ways to plan your route and make it happen:
Give Transit a Try—It’s Free!
Sun Tran Bus Lines 1, 3, 4, 8, and 17 all have stops directly crossing or within walking distance of the route, and all buses have racks in the front if you want to bring your bicycle with you. You can find directions by using Google Maps from your house to your arrival destination and selecting the transit mode. Sun Tran also has an online trip planner tool that’s easy to use. Bonus: Sun Tran will also be stationary at the event, located at the Himmel Park hub, so you can practice putting your bike on and off their racks, pressure-free, during the event…
