PHOENIX — Since the COVID-19 pandemic, Arizona’s public schools have been grappling with dwindling enrollment and shrinking budgets.
Many school districts in the Valley have had to make the difficult decision to shut the doors on some of their schools. As of this spring, 20 schools have been closed or repurposed over the last few years.
