A Tucson man has been arrested on manslaughter charges after his dogs were involved in a deadly attack, as reported by FOX 10 Phoenix. The Pima County Sheriff’s Department announced that 60-year-old Martin Martinez is facing charges following the attack that occurred last Sunday, which led to the death of 43-year-old Kevin Renguul. The victim was found lying in the road with critical injuries and later died at a local hospital.
Early investigation suggests that Renguul was attacked by approximately five dogs. These animals had reportedly escaped from Martinez’s property and had a known history of aggression, including a previous attack on a neighbor. Despite being initially accused of endangerment and felony assault, the charges against Martinez were elevated to include manslaughter following Renguul’s death on Wednesday. Martinez is currently held on a $275,000 bond, according to coverage by KOLD News 13…
