Tucson Salad and Go locations receive new items

The fast-casual chain Salad and Go has added three new grain bowls to its menu in several cities, including Tucson.

Created by co-founder and Michelin-star trained chef Daniel Patino, with culinary support from chef Tim Sablick, the bowls start at $8.75 and feature warm, whole-grain brown rice paired with a choice of premium proteins like pulled chicken or shredded beef, fresh vegetables and multiple sauces.

The new bowls are “Tokyo Go,” with edamame, red peppers, red cabbage, carrots, a garlic and ginger-flavored teriyaki sauce, brown rice and a protein choice; “Southwest Ranchero,” with avocado, pico de gallo, tortilla strips, brown rice, a protein choice and spicy red chile sauce and “Wild West,” with spicy black beans, pickled red onions, corn, roasted poblano peppers, brown rice, a protein choice and barbecue sauce…
