TUCSON, Ariz. (13 News) – Variable clouds on balance today, with cool highs in the lower 70’s and upper 60’s for Cochise County. Models in pretty good agreement for a wave of showers to pinwheel into Tucson metro in the late afternoon through the early evening, almost timed right for 5 pm. A few more very widely scattered showers overnight into tomorrow. This will be colder and snows for the highest elevations. A dose looks to hit the higher elevations of Graham and Greenlee counties.
Wednesday will be the clearing day…and warming into the 80’s. Just a point in the forecast, as we continue to quickly warm to the upper 90’s come Friday and 100 for the weekend. There is some midlevel moisture be pushed in from the east, however, the consensus for now is to hold with a dry heat spike.
