FIRST ALERT FORECAST: Rain and a flood watch for southern Arizona

TUCSON, Ariz. (13 News) – We’ve got a First Alert Action Day for Sunday as we’re expecting some much-needed widespread rain thanks to moisture from former Pacific Tropical Storm Alvin moving north into Arizona. A FLOOD WATCH will be in effect for much of southeastern Arizona, including the Tucson area from Sunday afternoon through Sunday evening. Total rainfall amounts for late Sunday into early Monday for the Tucson metro area should range from 0.10″ to 0.50″. A few light showers are possible on Tuesday before warmer and drier conditions return by Wednesday through next weekend.
