TUCSON, Ariz. (13 News) – The Fourth of July is right around the corner, and law enforcement and first responders came together to discuss operations for the holiday.
The holiday is a busy time for first responders, but hundreds of the calls they receive are not real emergencies. And that can cause delays in their response when they are needed the most.
Last year alone, the 911 center received more than 500 calls on the Fourth of July that were determined to be non-emergency.
