FIRST ALERT FORECAST – Monsoon storm machine gets cranked up

TUCSON, Ariz. (13 News) – Isolated showers & storms will stay to Tucson’s east through this evening. However, starting tomorrow, our monsoon storm machine gets cranked up as we experience an uptick in storm coverage through the middle of this upcoming week. Tomorrow & Monday, the biggest risk will be strong winds & blowing dust from storms. It’s why there’s a Blowing Dust Advisory out east for tomorrow. Tuesday through Thursday, the biggest risk with storms will be flash flooding. FAA Days are on Wednesday & Thursday due to high storm chances. An increase in moisture & storms will also allow us to cool to the 90s by Wednesday.
