TUCSON, Ariz — A Boston family is grappling with the loss of nearly $10,000 after booking a Caribbean vacation through a Tucson-based company. For two months, News 4 Tucson’s Chief Investigative Reporter Chorus Nylander has been investigating the situation.
An elderly man from Boston, George Franco, planned a family vacation to the Dominican Republic. He needed to purchase 15 plane tickets and believed he found a great deal with a Tucson agency. However, after handing over the money, the company failed to provide all the tickets.
