TUCSON, Ariz. (13 News) – Thursday night, 13 News got a closer look at the city of South Tucson’s Defend Nuestro Barrio Campaign.
It’s a community-led program to put boots on the ground to identify hot spots for drugs and criminal activities.
David Garcia is one of the volunteers leading the charge in the campaign. He laid out some of the goals of the patrols to 13 News, including bringing resources to people on the streets to help them get help, clean up trash from the city, and also help the city address the rising use of fentanyl…
