FIRST ALERT FORECAST – Scattered PM Thundershowers…last call

TUCSON, Ariz. (13 News) – Off to a mostly sunny start, as the exhaust clouds from last night’s storms have cleared out. Afternoon showers and thundershowers expected, Tucson checking into a 40% shot with better odds south and east. As early as tomorrow, the pops slide downwards and settle mostly in the 20% range. Given our surface moisture and typical heating, possible for isolated afternoon/evening thundershowers.

By mid to late next week, high temps continue pushing past 105. By Friday we will get close to record highs, but still out of reach from this point. However, high pressure will continue to keep a lid on more bountiful PM thunderstorms.
