FIRST ALERT FORECAST – Heating up through the workweek

TUCSON, Ariz. (13 News) – Weak, isolated showers & storms will continue to fizzle out this evening. However, you can’t rule out some overnight isolated showers. We’ll have another low-grade monsoon storm day tomorrow, with a 20% chance of rain in the city. A brief uptick in storm chances on Tuesday, drying out by later in the week. There’s a chance for a more robust storm pattern by next week.

A touch hotter today, with highs in the upper 90s. We’re heating up through the workweek to around 100 tomorrow, peaking at around 105 or hotter by mid-to-late-week. An Extreme Heat Watch has been posted from Wednesday through Friday. Not pulling the trigger on First Alert Weather Days quite yet.
